My Life As A Teenager Part 2

Published by smiley2 at 4:38 pm under Uncategorized Edit This

I remember the day this man came home; he looked so strange to me. I new he had been in my mom life before, but I could not remember him. On this particular day I walked in the house, there he was sitting on the couch just waiting for all the girls to come home. I felt strange when he hugged me. I guess he was showing me that he wanted to love me or something like that. But I knew deep down in my heart that he was fake from the time I first looked at him.

When his daughter came home from school, he was very happy to see her. At this time she was in elementary. (She is the fourth child). He embraced her like it was no tomorrow, which I was happy for her, because I had no father in my life. I was looking at it from that point of view.

I was looking at my moms face. I guess she felt like her life and her kids life was going to be ok.

As the days went by it seems like everything was going great. I had no problems with him. He helped with home work. If something was wrong with my mom car he would fix it. I mean he sounds like the all around guy.

Things changed. I think it was about six months, and that’s when he snapped. He was always yelling. Telling me I can’t wear certain things to school. That I can’t talk to this person or hang out with them. I can’t stay after school anymore. Even if I wanted to go to the library I had to explain: Who was I going with? Why was I going? What time was I coming home ? And will there be boys.

But listen world, I was doing this before he came back in our lives. And mind you I was not a bad teenager. I always came home on time. Always on the honor roll. At school they called me a geek, I did not mind. His true colors came out. Now this is when things is going to change in my world once again.
